She told the New Strait Times: "It is his papa who wanted to name him Muhammad. That was how we both decided with the name."
However, his arrival is tinged with sadness because he will never know his father who is missing presumed dead along with 238 other passengers and crew.

Ms Othman has already had to explain to four-year-old daughter Imam that her father's plane would not be coming home.
In one post she said: "I have to be a bionic woman to face reality today. I will gradually tell Imam that she have lost her Papa and Muhammad will be my pillar to move on.
"In Shaa Allah Imam and Muhammad won't let you know. My love for you will stay forever."
Earlier in the search The Malaysian Insider newspaper spoke to Ms Othman.
She said: “[Imam] asks when will her Papa be home. When she looks at his photographs on my iPad and my phone, she would ask me to call him.
"Once, she woke up early and cried out for him. It broke my heart. She misses her dad and I miss him, too."
